Override Suspension (Under Age)

This help topic explains how to change the status of a FHOG application from Suspended / Applicant Under Age to Recommended / Pending Approval. This should be done only at the Commissioner’s discretion.

This is done if an application has been suspended due to an underage applicant (under 16 years of age in NSW and ACT, or under 18 in SA) but a decision has subsequently been made in the applicant’s favour.

Note: FHOG does not check for eligibility if Override Suspension (Under Age) is done.

To override suspension of an application, press Override Suspension (Under Age). The database is automatically updated to reflect the new application status Approved.
