Use this page to lodge an application for the HomeBuilder Grant.

Applying for HomeBuilder

To lodge an application, you will need to give us information about each applicant.

When you submit your application, you will receive an acknowledgement message with a lodgement reference code.

You will then be able to upload your supporting documentation for Revenue NSW to review.

Please allow 15 business days for Revenue NSW to process your completed application.

HomeBuilder supporting documentation deadline extension

The deadline to submit supporting documentation for all existing HomeBuilder Grant applications has been extended to 30 June 2025.

The extension applies to all existing HomeBuilder applicants, including for off-the-plan purchases, new builds and renovations.

The HomeBuilder grant closed to new applications on 14 April 2021. If you have previously commenced an application prior to 14 April 2021, you now have until 30 June 2025 to complete your application, which includes providing all supporting documents.
